Every bead placed by hand
Not printed, not transferred, not machine-embroidered. Each bead is sewn on one at a time, which is why no two pieces come out quite the same.

Each bead is stitched down individually, following a charted pattern the way a tapestry is worked. One bag face can run past four thousand beads.
Small runs, never production
A pattern gets made a handful of times and then set aside. Nothing here comes off a machine, and nothing is reordered by the hundred.

Linings, straps, clasps and closures are all set by hand. It is the part nobody photographs and the first thing you notice.
